Bio
Charles Randle, CPA, MBA, a native of Meridian, MS is currently an Accounting Doctoral Student in the College of Business at Jackson State University (JSU). His research interests include auditor independence, audit rotation, and audit committee independence.
He received a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from JSU, and his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Meridian Campus of Mississippi State University.
Since receiving his MBA, he has taught at Mississippi College, and as a doctoral student at JSU he served as a teaching assistant for Accounting Information Systems in the Fall 2012 semester. Prior to pursuing a doctoral degree in accounting, he worked for a number of years in both public accounting and industry. He became a licensed CPA in the state of Mississippi in 2005.
He is currently a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Mississippi Society of CPAs, the American Accounting Association [Financial, Auditing, and Behavioral sections], the PhD Project [Accounting Doctoral Students Association], Beta Gamma Sigma, and Alpha Epsilon Lambda .
